Unlockd, the tech start-up that claims its business was crushed by Google, has discontinued its legal action in the Federal Court against the search giant.
The liquidators appointed to Unlockd’s operations filed a notice of discontinuance in the court on Tuesday evening.
“Unlockd Ltd, Unlockd AU Pty Ltd and Unlocked Operations Pty Ltd, the applicants discontinue the whole of the proceeding,” the court document said.
Unlockd has been trying to finalise litigation funding for this legal action since its collapse in June.
Liquidators appointed to the company, led by McGrathNicol’s Keith Crawford, declined to say whether Unlockd is still seeking this funding, or if this discontinuance ends its litigation against Google.
